9. Cache - Ohne Worte (GCT14B)
Nach dem Erfolg der Siegbrücke und dem (erneuten) Misserfolg des Red Crocodile Houses wollten wir zur einsetzenden Dämmerung noch einen letzten Cache in Angriff nehmen. Den Cache "Ohne Worte" an der Wahnbachtalsperre. Wiedermal ein Traditional (einfach an den Koordinaten finden) in Micro-Größe (Filmdose oder kaum größer), allerdings, wie der Name schon sagt völlig ohne Worte (Hinweise).
Erstmal sind wir zur Talsperre hoch. Hier würde uns der Weg über die Staumauer zum Wald auf der anderen Seite führen. Am Anfang des Weges standen diverse Hinweisschilder "Für Sauberkeit sorgen, keine Fahrräder, keine Hunde" und was musste ich dann auf dem Wasser erkennen? Enten... die größten Dreckspatzen überhaupt. So ein bisschen Hund macht dann auch keinen Unterschied mehr. Da allerdings Angeln in diesem Bereich verboten war, habe ich von einer Entenjagd abgesehen.  Auf der anderen Seite angekommen ging es dann einige Meter den Berg hoch, und zweimal serpentinenartig um die Ecken. Oben angekommen suchten wir dann nach dem Micro. Keine spaßige Angelegenheit in einem Wald. Allerdings sind diese dann meist schon so angebracht, dass sie nicht verloren gehen (nicht einfach unter dem Laub). Wir haben, mal wieder in der Dunkelheit, im Scheine von Jans Taschen- und meiner Handylampe gesucht. Auch ganz vorne am steilen Abgrund. Wir haben jede Baumwurzel und jede Astgabelung inspiziert. So glaubten wir zumindest. Nichts fand sich und ich war schon bereit aufzugeben,  Wahnbachtalsperre bei Nacht. Jan war nicht bereit aufzugeben, zwei Misserfolge an einem Tag wollte er nicht hinnehmen. Also suchte er weiter. Mehr aus Langeweile habe ich dann zum wiederholten Male einen der vier Bäume im direkten Zielkoordianten-Radius inspiziert und da fiel mir doch glatt noch etwas auf, was wir übersehen hatten. Im Nachhinein war es ja dann doch wieder ganz einfach. Der Micro war diesmal eine Brausetablettendose, also schon etwas größer als die Filmdosen, und enthielt einen Stift. Ein Luxus bei Micros. Glücklich konnten wir dann nach dem Eintrag ins Logbuch zum Auto zurück kehren. Der Blick nach unten auf die Talsperre sah schon so prima aus. Im Schein der Sterne und des recht vollen Mondes (den man selbst dort leider nicht sehen konne) sah man alles noch sehr deutlich, allerdings sorgte einsetzender Nieselregen für Nebel. Das wäre eine tolle Kulisse für eine Horror- oder Krimigeschichte gewesen. Man konnte den Stauturm noch deutlich erkennen, aber alles was weiter weg war, war nur noch schemenhaft zu erkennen. Auch das Ufer war etwas weiter weg schon verschwunden, da sich die Bäume dunkel im Wasser abzeichneten. Sehr hübsch. Fazit: Fallen: Abgründe, Wasser Gegner: Enten Rätsel: Im dunklen Wald gut versteckt, im Hellen wohl leichter zu finden Cacher: Jan & Jana Finder: Jana (17:30) Kommentare
