... und dabei den Final versäumt.

So oder so ähnlich kann man eine der Aktionen vom Freitag beschreiben.

Dieser Multicache startete an der Chorruine in Heisterbach. Die erste Aufgabe (A ermitteln), das Zählen der Fenster, haben wir auch gut hinbekommen. (Wie viele Leute braucht man um 13 Fenster zu zählen. Hups, jetzt habe ich es verraten. Nein Unsinn, die Zahl stimmt nicht.

)

Die zweite Station (B) haben wir dann erstmal versäumt, weil wir ja noch den Final des eigentlichen Chorruinen Caches suchten. Statt Station 3 zu suchen, sind wir ja dann zum Gästehaus auf den Petersberg rauf.

Wo wir schon mal oben waren, haben wir dann F, die Anzahl der Säulen an einem der Fernrohre, ermittelt.

Mit dem Plan, den Berg von oben nach unten - also genau anders herum - abzusuchen, ging es wieder nach unten. Dem Risiko, dass wir dann am Ende wieder hoch müssten, waren wir uns bewusst. (Auto fest eingeplant!)

Schon bei Station E stellte sich dann das Problem, dass wir nicht kapierten, wo hier die Verbindung zum Geocoin Micro #10 sein sollte. Gab von der Seite auch nicht direkt eine.

Wir sind dann einfach an Hand der GPS Koordinaten zu der Station, die uns B liefern würde, gelaufen, um dort die Entfernung zum Petersberg abzulesen. Die tatsächliche Entfernung hatten wir am eigenen Körper bereits zweifach zu spüren bekommen.

Von dort fanden wir dann auch das Weggkreuz für C, nachdem wir erst einmal klar stellen mussten, dass ich Recht hatte und wir rechts entlang mussten.

An dieser Stelle konnten wir auf einmal dem normalen Verlauf der Cachebeschreibung wieder folgen, und befanden uns irgendwie auf dem Weg zum Geocoin Micro. Allerdings führte uns diese Beschreibung zu einer Stelle, an der wir uns nicht weiter trauten, da es nach Privatgrund aussah und auch vom Zaun, von dem die Rede war, nichts zu sehen war. Wir gingen also anders herum und wunderten uns über den fehlenden Zaun immer mehr. Irgendwie haben wir dann mit dem GPS aber doch zur letzten Station, an der wir - bei toller Aussicht - Bretter einer Bank zählen sollten, gefunden und konnten ganz in der Nähe den Micro ebenso verbuchen.

Inzwischen wurde es schon dunkel. Allerdings wollten wir, mit den jetzt ergatterten Koordinaten, noch nach dem Final suchen. Schnell fanden wir die Bank, von der aus es zum Final weiter gehen sollte; allerdings hatten wir danach leider einen kleinen Fehler in den Koordinaten, so dass wir etwa 20 Minuten an der falschen Stelle nach einem gewissen markanten Baum suchten. Ohne Taschenlampe war schon nichts mehr zu machen.

Wir haben dann die Koordinaten korrigiert und sind weiter gezogen. Plötzlich standen wir im Dunkel vor einem tiefen Abhang und die Richtungsnadel zeigte beharrlich einige Meter voraus, in die Tiefe. An ein Hinunterklettern war bei diesen Lichtverhältnissen nicht zu denken, noch dazu, da es so aussah, als wäre das selbst bei Helligkeit keine so gute Idee. Das wir beim Weg an den Abgrund einen zerstörten Stacheldrahtzaun passiert hatten viel uns auf dem Rückweg dann auch auf. Zweimal haben wir es noch an anderen Stellen versucht, die zuerst den Anschein machten tiefer zu liegen, aber auch diese führten uns an einen Abgrund. So sind wir schließlich gegangen und haben beschlossen, im Hellen einmal wiederzukommen.

Fazit:
Fallen: tiefer, stockfinsterer Abgrund, Stacheldraht
Gegner: Wanderer, versteckte Wildschweine (nur die Wühllöcher waren vorhanden)
Rätsel: Bisher nicht vollständig gelöst, mit viel Laufen verbunden.
