53. Cache - Feenwiese

Die Feenwiese war für mich wohl, auf Grund der Umstände, der schwierigste Cache. Wir befanden uns auf dem Rückweg vom Augenarzt. Da man mir tief in die Augen geschaut hatte, hatte ich extrem geweitete Pupillen und habe entsprechend toll gesehen. Dazu war es ein wenig hell, aber an Sonnenbrille war nicht zu denken, da ich ja schon meine normale Brille trug, statt Kontaktlinsen. Wir parkten am Eingang eines Feldweges. An der ersten Station, ein Schild noch an der Straße, musste man ein paar Zahlen ermitteln und ich gebe offen zu, ich konnte die Hälfte nicht erkennen. :o) Gut, dass Jan dabei war.

Die Finalkoordinaten waren dann schnell ermittelt. Wir folgten dem Feldweg, der zwischendurch richtig matschig wurde (besonders da wo die Sonne den eigentlich recht steif gefrorenen feuchten Boden aufgeweicht hatte). Nach einigen hundert Metern kamen wir zu einer Stelle, wo rechts ein Weg in bebaumte Gegend um den Bach herum führte. Dort begegnete uns ein Muggle mit Hund. Das erste Problem wurde schnell klar. Der Cache war auf der anderen Seite des Bachs. Jan hat hier mutig Anlauf genommen und ist von der Seite auf der wir uns befanden, die noch dazu deutlich höher lag, zum anderen Ufer hinunter gesprungen. Unter normalen Umständen wäre ich hinterher. Auch wenn es etwas weit war. Aber irgendwie war es doch recht kalt, und meine Beine sind nun mal beachtlich kürzer als Jans, weshalb ein Fehltritt, vor allem mit Alienaugen, nicht ausgeschlossen war. Ich suchte also nach einem anderen Weg hinüber. Und suchte und suchte. Ich versuchte mit großen Steinen Trittbretter im Fluss zu schaffen. Leider führte er dafür zu viel Wasser. Springen zu weit und zu unsicher, keine Trittsteine... also suchte ich nach schmaleren Stellen. Aber irgendwie habe ich mir nicht viel zugetraut unter den Umständen. So wurde die Suche doch gut 5 Minuten lange.

Dann entschloss ich mich an der angrenzenden Wiese entlang (welche auch sehr matschig war) nach einer besseren Stelle zu finden. Jan war inzwischen um den auf der anderen Seite im Weg befindlichen Hügel herum gekommen und gemeinsam fanden wir dann eine Stelle an der ich trockenen Fußes hinüber hüpfen konnte.

Jan hatte den Cache zwar schon ohne mich gefunden, da ich ihn danach aber eigenständig auch fand, verdiene ich auch einen Punkt.

Über den Cache-Inhalt kann ich genauso wenig etwas sagen. Den Logeintrag hat Jan übernommen. Der Rückweg gestaltete sich als nicht weniger umständlich. Wir hatten zwar hier auf der anderen Seite auch einen Feldweg gefunden, allerdings endete dieser irgendwann zwischen Feld und Wald. Danach begaben wir uns durch Bäume und über die Wiese wieder zum Bach, der sich inzwischen einige Meter von uns entfernt hatte. Hier fanden wir zum Glück Baumstämme mit deren Hilfe man hinüber gelangen konnte. Diesmal sprang ich aber lieber an einer engeren Stelle das Stück.

Über die sumpfige Wiese (auf der wir nochmal einen Bogen um ein Wasserloch machen mussten) gelangten wir wieder auf den Feldweg, an dessen Anfang das Auto stand. Hierbei waren wir nicht ganz muggle-unbeobachtet, aber naja.
