3. Cache - Dondorfer Wäldchen (GC110FT)
Nach dem Misserfolg am "Dom", wo wir nie waren, da wir vom See nicht wegkamen, sind wir direkt vom Parkplatz aus den vermatschten Waldweg hoch, ins Dondorfer Wäldchen. Ein herkömmlicher Traditional, aber im Gegensatz zu unseren beiden ersten Funden kein Micro sondern ein "Regular", genau richtig, um doch noch was zu finden...
Erst führte dieser Weg brav nach links (etwa Osten), bog aber plötzlich nach rechts ab. Zuerst waren wir etwas unsicher, ob wir den steilen Anstieg in die falsche Himmelsrichtung wagen sollten, entschlossen uns aber schließlich dafür. Nach einigen hundert Metern ging es dann wieder nach Osten um die Ecke, nicht mehr durch den Wald, sondern am Rand des Feldes am Wald entlang. Dort lag links von uns, in der Nähe eines Hochstandes, dessen Plastik-Fenster fröhlich reflektierten, im abgeernteten Mais, ein Fass. Noch ein paar Meter weiter haben wir uns auf einer recht verwahrlosten Bank erstmal eine Sekunde ausgeruht um zu peilen, wie weit wir noch nach Süden müssten. Dabei habe ich mich natürlich zielsicher in die Stacheln gesetzt, was ich erst beim Aufstehen wieder merkte. Wie heißt es so schön? "Nur die Harten kommen in den Garten." Kurz drauf hatten wir die Wahl: Wieder in den Wald, oder weiter nach Süden am Feld entlang. Wir entschlossen uns für den Wald. Dort musste Jan auf der nächsten defekten Bank erstmal rasten um seine Schnürsenkel zu binden. Dabei wurden wir fast von zwei Rehen überfallen, die scheinen uns nicht gesehen zu haben. Danach ging es noch ein wenig im Wald nach oben. Als das Navi dann meinte da zu sein, sah ich mich schon mal um. Natürlich hat es auch hier gesponnen, und meinte plötzlich, wir wären zu weit. Also sind wir wieder ein Stück zurück und dort haben wir dann beide geschaut. Jan am falschen Ende, ich am richtigen. Der 3. Cache war um etwa 16:20 gefunden. Der Inhalt war diesmal spannend, da wir bisher ja nur Micros mit Logbuch und maximal einem Stift, kannten. Der Cache selber (ein Köfferchen) war in einer Plastiktüte, in einen, schon leicht angefetzten, Müllsack gehüllt. Das Logbuch im Inneren war mit einem AMD-Stift in einem wiederverschließbaren Frischhaltebeutel (kein ziploc und ich weiß nicht, wie das normale heißt  ). Die Leute hatten darin nicht nur ihren Namen, sondern auch ein paar Worte zum Trip und dazu, was sie entnommen und hinterlassen haben, eingetragen; also haben wir es ihnen gleich getan, nachdem wir den Inhalt (ein Schlüsselband, eine Kriegerfigur, eine Sammelkarte, ein Reflektierbär, ein Glastier mit Würfelchen im Inneren...) inspiziert hatten. Wir entnahmen einen "rosa Elefanten" und hinterließen einen kleinen Eisenbahnwaggon. Einen Travelbug oder Geocoin gab es im Cache nicht.Da meine Hände überhaupt nicht mehr warm werden wollten, musste Jan den Cache wieder gut an seinem Versteck verstauen. Der Rückweg zum Auto war schnell geschafft. Damit endete aber leider der Tag, da Jan um 18 Uhr noch woanders hin musste.
