4. Cache - Burgschatz (GCXBZ0)
Auf ging es kurz nach Mittag, Richtung Blankenberg. Wir haben an der Burgruine geparkt und sind zu Fuß in die Stadt gegangen, da die Cache-Koordinaten an der Stadtmauer gelegen waren.
 Blankenberg Also rein in die Stadt und dann nach links. Die ganze Zeit lagen wir im Streit mit unserem Navi, was uns am liebsten ein wenig außerhalb der Stadt gesehen hätte. Leider ist die Reaktionszeit des Gerätes zu langsam und die Ungenauigkeit manchmal über 10 m. An der Stadtmauer gab es schon diverse interessante Stellen, wo man sich fast ein Versteck hätte denken können... Weiter geht es im verstecken Anhang, da ich dieses Mal genauer auf die Fundstelle eingehe, da dieser einen Großteil der Geschichte ausmacht. Wenn ihr also den Burgschatz nicht gehoben habt, dieses aber irgendwann einmal vorhabt (wozu ich euch raten würde, netter kleiner Cache), solltet ihr nicht weiter lesen! Fazit: Fallen: Brombeerstacheln, Abgrund Gegner: Spaziergänger Rätsel: gut versteckt, mit ordentlichem GPS Gerät wäre es schneller gegangen; von Jan gehoben Cacher: Jan & Jana Finder: Jan - eigentlich Janas Stift (14:25) Als wir zu einer weißen Bank kamen, zeigte uns das Navi in etwa die richtigen Koordinaten an. Also haben wir angehalten und gesucht. An der Mauer, in der Nähe der Bank war nichts, auch wenn nicht weit eine Vertiefung war. Aber auch diese war leer. Gegenüber war hinter einem Geländer der Abgrund, mit einem zerfallenen Teil der Festung, in dem in einer Nische viel Laub war. Ich sah mir diese Stelle an, und verlor - wie ich später bemerkte - meinen Kugelschreiber an genau dieser Stelle, als ich sie inspizierte. Wir fragten uns, ob der Cache wohl unter dem ganzen Laub versteckt war, aber unser Navi, was weiter nach unten wollte und Jan Meinung, dass bei starkem Regen das ganze nicht halten würde, trieb uns weiter.
Wir suchten noch ein paar Minuten hier oben und begaben uns dann über den langen Weg nach unten. Dort haben wir unterwegs noch einen Blick hinter die Stadtmauern, also ins Innere, auf den Kirchshof, geworfen, wurden aber auch da nicht fündig. Also gingen wir hinab, zu der Stelle unterhalb der weißen Bank und der Ruinenteile. (Dabei vorbei am Parkplatz auf der anderen Seite der Stadt.) Hier erwies sich das Navi als total von der Rolle und führte uns bis zu einer Bank, die den Anfang des Waldes im Naturschutzgebiet bildete. Wir glaubten schon, diese wäre die in der Beschreibung angesprochene Stelle, an der man gut ins Log schreiben könnte - natürlich immer im Hinterkopf, dass es auch die weiße Bank oben sein könnte. Nachdem das Navi die Anzeige dann aber aktualisiert hatte und wir bemerkten, dass wir offensichtlich zu weit waren, haben wir den Hang unterhalb der Befestigungsanlagen untersucht. Die Stufen, die dort hoch führten, luden dazu ein. Irgendwo fanden wir sogar etwas Plastiktütenähnliches, was wir für die Verpackung des Caches hielten. Wir untersuchten es, ohne etwas zu finden. Irgendwie kam es mir dann wieder so vor, als oben doch eine gute Stelle wäre, also bin ich den Hang hoch wieder nach oben geklettert. Nachdem ich aus dieser Perspektive aber auch nichts fand und Jan unten auch aufgab, beschlossen wir wenigstens Mal kurz nach den Koordinaten nach NAD zu schauen. (Zu dem Zeitpunkt hatte ich den Verlust des Kulis schon bemerkt.) Nachdem wir die Stadt zu Fuß durchquert hatten, und festgestellt hatten, dass die anderen Koordinaten weit außerhalb der Stadt liegen würden, aber in der Nähe des Parkplatz, wo das Auto stand, haben wir beschlossen einmal durch die Stadt zur anderen Seite zu fahren, um dem ersten Suchort näher zu kommen. Wir gingen wieder nach oben, wo die weiße Bank stand und inspizierten nochmal den zerfallenen Teil der Befestigung, wo ich meinen Kuli wiederfand. Und im Laub direkt darunter fanden wir dann auch den Cache. Der Kuli wusste es lange vor uns. So war Schatz 4 um 14:25 gehoben. Leider war dabei viel Zeit vergangen, so dass keine Zeit mehr für die anderen Caches in der Gegend blieb, da die Arbeit in Bonn rief. Kommentare
